Shipping + Returns
Because each individual piece is made to order (i.e., it’s made only after an order has been placed), we generally do not accept returns unless a piece is somehow defective or has been damaged in transit. That said, we’re human-- we understand that stuff happens. And we want you to be satisfied with your experience with us. If something goes wrong with your order, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can try to work something out.
What to expect during delivery
If you live in Chicagoland...
Our delivery team will give you a call to schedule an appointment as soon as your piece is complete and ready to leave our workshop. (Our delivery team tends to be pretty accommodating-- they often deliver on evenings, as well as weekends.) During delivery, our team will carry your piece inside your home and place it in the room of your choice, unpacked and ready for you to enjoy.
If you live outside Chicagoland...
Your order will ship via FedEx or UPS, or via a number of freight companies specializing in large-item delivery. Certain items ship via White-Glove Delivery by default; during White-Glove Delivery, the piece will be brought into your home, unpacked, and set in the room of your choice. Other items will be delivered curbside (and still packaged). Want to find out how a certain item is shipped? Interested in upgrading to White-Glove Delivery? Get in touch with us through our website or e-mail us at email@example.com.
Damaged in Transit
Inspect your package before you sign! If you see damage to the package that may have occurred during transit, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately through our website or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Same goes if you discover damage that may have occurred during transit after you have already signed and unpacked the piece.
Though we try our best to deliver a perfect product, we acknowledge that mistakes happen. If you find a defect in one of our pieces, please let us know immediately. You can reach us through our website or e-mail us at email@example.com. We’ll do our best to make it right.
