The Moraine Table is designed by Seth Keller, a Chicago-based designer. He apprenticed as a carpenter and cabinetmaker before focusing on products and furniture. His work explores the systems of manufacture, design and culture, and brings form to objects based on research, observation and intuition. Keller studied Literature and Fine Art at UW-Madison and UNC-Asheville, and Design at Parsons School of Design. He holds a MFA in 3D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art and is Faculty in the Designed Objects department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Keller also serves as Director of the Sullivan Fabrication Studio, the makerspace for SAIC's Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects department.
